Pumpkin Patch

We let Tycee in the house the other day when Phil had taken Ticker with him. Addyson layed on the blanket with her the whole time she was in the house. She loves Tycee so much! We went to the Pumpkin Patch with Addyson preschool class. It was alot of fun! Addyson was actually Child of the Day so she got to be the first in line the whole day. Not that Addyson needs to have an excuse to be Child of the Day, in her mind she is everyday!!

OMG!! How things have changed

So today was first day of Preschool. She was really excited until I woke her up at 7:45am, Addy is a sleeper and normally wakes around 10-10:30am. Addy and Aydann are in the same class together and were pretty jacked to see each other. I laugh cause the two of them are such characters...I called it the "Aydann and Addy Show." I am sure there will be some good laughs.

Can you tell that she is not a morning person! She was so ticked at me for taking her picture. She told me she didn't want to go to school, she wanted to go back to bed!!

So here is the house with everything done, just not moved in yet. We are now moved in as of August 20th, but still working on going through everything and putting things where they belong. It is alot of work. Most of our stuff had been in storage for 2 years and there were some things that had been in storage for 7 years. We had one huge yard sale and Mom and I are going to do another. They are alot of work, but the first one I made enough for a new coach! Now I am working on end tables.

Well, there are lots more changes. I will try to get more pics and post some soon.

OK...so here goes...a big update!

The Lady Bengals soccer team played at the Pullman Tournament and came out with Second place. They played three winning games and lost the Championship Game, but all of them were fantastic.

We have LIGHTS!!! and fans and outlets...it is all so exciting!!!

The twins are here as of July 25th!! They were both health happy baby boys and Ronnie and Denetta are very happy to have them here.

Mom, Aunt Deanna, Addyson and I went and visited my Grandpa. Addy had fun playing out side and my Grandpa loves to watch her. We need to go more often.

Genesse Parade

I have the three younger girls for the weekend, so I decided to do something other than sit around the house. Genesse had their Parade today. We went last year and had a really good time. They put on a really nice Parade and the kids get a ton of candy. This year was even better, they had rock climbing, jumping castle, dunk booth and lots of vendors. My Aunt Deanna went with us and Christel and Layla met us there.

When we got home I set up Bonsai Falls and the little pool and we chilled out there with Christel and Layla. The rest of the evening we have devoted to watching movies and eating munchies! I call that a perfect day!! Hopefully we will get to do it all over again tomorrow!

The Kitchen is in!!!!

The Kitchen Cabinets went in yesterday and I am totally in love with them! They look even better installed than when they were sitting in my living room. Things are starting to take shape and it is so exciting!

Here is my hubby working hard. He is going to be doing all out tile work. It is something he has not done before, my cousin Chad came out to the house and gave him a crash coarse. By the time this house is done there will be nothing he can't do. I have a ton of tile so he will probably be really good by the time we are done. He just took off his next set of days, so starting this next kellys he will be off 21 days. I am so happy...my hope is that he will work out there and be able to come home and get some good sleep at night. Me and the girls are so proud of him and all of his hard work. I look forward to the day he can sit in his recliner, drink a beer while watching TV and look out the windows to the view he loves!! He deserves it!

This is one of the downstairs bathrooms with the tile down. I think it is all coming together really nice!

We had Addyson's gymnastics recital last night. She did so good! Her sisters were there so she was a little show off and she gets bord while she sits and waits her turn, but other than that she does great! I am so excited to scrapbook these pics along with her certificate!! She is going to go to VBS next week and I think we will continue gymnastics. And then the following week she will start swim lessons. It is going to be a busy summer with her and all the house stuff.

SO...my cabinets have arrived and will be installed next week. Be looking for lots more pics!

Well the walkways turned out great. I am so excited to get in and start some landscaping. Phil has been busy laying Hardiebacker so they can put in our cabinets this week. He just started his kelly days so they will be full of working on the house.

Addyson and her princess dress and her heal shoes, she has been wearing them everywhere! We just went out to take some pics and bring him some beverages.

The paint is done and I love it! I was not sure when it was wet, but it looks great now. And it looks great with my tile. There is still lots to do. But it is coming to an end.

Addy's Gymnastics

Well she is still loving gymnastics and is doing really well at it. She just picks things up and has no fear of anything. Kinda scary actually! We are going to continue through the summer and hopefully move up in September.

Phil and Jesse have been working their asses off to get the house painted! Things are starting to look different now. Next week it will start looking like a real house!
I spent the majority of my weekend running around picking up the odds and ends of things that the boys were needing to keep going, anywhere from paint to food.
They will be finishing up tomorrow and the girls and I are going to go out and take all the plastic off the windows and the paper off the floor.

House Update

Yesterday we poured the rest of our concrete. Thanks God! I don't think I have put pics on of the decks yet, we just need to get the railings on now. Painting will start today hopefully and our cabinets are ready to go in next week sometime. The carpet guy is out measuring today and Phil will put down the backer board when the painting is done. Chad came out to the house to check out the tile job and is going to try to make time to do that for us. I will take more pics this weekend and get them posted of the progress made over the long weekend. Even my Dad was helping out with all the concrete yesterday. With the weather so nice it was setting up pretty quick. So it was all hands on deck. We also had Winger stamp all of it, it is going to look so nice!

We had been out there all day and running errand for Phil. She was pooped by the time dinner time came around. She only snoozed for about 20 min. And we were both filthy dirty by the time we got home. She was really good out there though, she loves to be outside!

Mother's Day Gifts...shhh!

This is early so no one tell my Mom what she is getting K! But I am in love with the clock and had to show it off!! We also made the stepping stones for her. We made them a couple years ago and I thought it would be cute do them every so many years. (Thank you Kristi and Jan for the great paper...it is EXACTLY what I needed!;-))

We also took her a dozen roses today to work along with a balloon that Addyson insisted on. I wish I could do so much more for her...she deserves the world!

Kates Freshman Dance

Tonight was Kate's Freshman Dance. She was so nervous, but she was absolutely stunning! She went with Cameron Bergland, just a friend from school, and whole group of others. I think there was like 5 couples in the group. A limo came and picked them up and took them to the dance then to dinner and back to Mykelbust place. I hope she is having fun!!

Her Dad was as nervous as she was, but for different reasons. He did well though. We are proud of him.

Uncle Richie, Aunt Christel and Layla all came to take pics too. Kate had a whole bunch of there to see her all dolled up.

She is going to love me for putting this one on! Couldn't help it though. She is such a awesome kid (or young lady), I just want the very best for her and all of her sisters. And I am so glad that she lets me be there for her and take part in all these exciting memories!!

OK...so not as quick as I planned, but the pictures are posted!! All of our sheetrock is hung and they will be starting taping and texture very soon. After that comes the paint!! I am so stinkin' excited!! This pic is my kitchen area and front entry hall. That is my pantry in the corner there.

This is the basement family room area. It is kinda hard to see with all the sheetrock pieces.

This is the upstairs after insulation. Pretty cool stuff eh!
And I threw this one in of Addyson and Morgan at the Asotin County Fair. They had a ton of fun together and rode the Roller Coaster a ton of times! Addyson has absolutely no fear of anything. She scares the daylights out of me. Her Dad took her to the top of the Scissor Lift that we had at the house and she stood right at the rail and looked over...didn't even flinch! Same with being on the top of our roof...and it is a tall roof on the daylight side...she loves it! I know I am going to loose sleep over her in the years to come!

Tomorrow is the Freshman Dance. Kate has a incredible dress to wear and she is going to be absolutely stunning in it. I will take lots of pics and post them as soon as I can.

I am still trying to figure out where all the time goes in a day. I feel as though I am on the go all day, but I don't get a whole lot accomplished. I don't know...maybe if I slowed down a little I would get more done, but that doesn't make alot of sense either.

Today is my Hubby's big 3-9!! One more year of his thirties left to go!! And yes I do remind him of that! Morgan and Addyson made him a big German Chocolate cake for his Birthday...his fave of coarse! He is going to be busy today, but I am hoping he will take a little time this weekend for himself and just relax a little! He is need of it. He is going all the time right now between our new house and work. But we love him and appreciate all that he is doing for us!!

Our Memories of Easter 2009

Today started off with The Easter Bunny and Easter Egg Hunting at Dammy's house. Addyson and Landen hunted eggs in Moms backyard and made a haul of coarse. Addyson started the day off with 2 Easter Baskets. Then we went to Lenore to spend Easter with the Family. My relatives from Orofino were there. The kids hunted eggs and then hide them for the adults. It was pretty funny to watch. Notice the "PRIVATE PROPERTY: NO TRESPASSING" sign. And of coarse the picture below of Aunt Judy scratching her bum! (I know you love me Aunt Judy!)

Odds and Ends

Here are just a few odds and ends of pictures from last week. On Friday I had the girls pictures done and I am so excited to get them back. We feed the baby cow on Friday after pictures, but I didn't get any pictures so we went back on Saturday and the girls feed the cow, checked out the baby chicks (which Addy now wants to bring one home to sleep with her) and they all petted the horses. I am so glad that Doug and Vickie have all the animals and I don't have to put them on my property.;-)

Then on Friday Addyson started big girl gymnastics, you know the ones that I don't have to stay on the floor with her. She was so cute...she sat on her hands and waited her turn and she caught on really quick. The teachers informed me that I should plan on paying for gymnastics for the next few years that she has really taken to it. It might kinda run in her blood though...her oldest sister, Jes, is a gymnast as well.

On to the house...things have been kinda at a stand still. We are waiting for electric and then hopefully things will start rolling again. I have not taken any more pics cause nothing has changed unfortunately!

Growing Pains

So here that silly little face of hers again...what is up with that!!! So...I bought this little kit that you make your own Lip Gloss in, thought it would be fun since she is a fanatic about Lip Gloss. Yeah...boy was I wrong, what a stinkin' mess! Not so much for Addyson, the Lip Gloss just sticks and does not clean up real well. So just FYI to all you Moms...STAY AWAY from the Lip Gloss Kit. Oh...and then I had to freeze it for it to set up. OK...Addyson is 3 years old and I believe already experiencing growing pains. Sunday night she woke me up several times complaining about her legs hurting. Then during the day yesterday she continued to say her legs were hurting. I gave her Mortrin hoping that would maybe dull the pain. She is not a real nap taker at all and yesterday she crawled up in my chair and cried a little and then fell asleep for about a hour and a half. Totally out of character for her. And both Sunday and Monday she was more clingy and wanting to be held, again out of character. I feel so bad because there is nothing that I can do for her and at the same time I am thinking "How tall is my child going to be?" She is already in the 75% for height...it is not like her Dad and I are real tall people:-)

I had to take advantage of the photo op since it is rare. And I have no sleeping pics of her for a scrapbook page.

HOUSE UPDATE

The septic tank is coming today and siding will be all done. Bryan and Brice will be starting the framing for the tub and shower in the master bath and the closets in the girls rooms. I will be taking some pics and get them posted soon.

So this has become Addyson's camera face. Great one eh! She says "CHEESE!" as she does it too. I am getting ready to have her pictures done and I am really hoping that they won't have this little face in everyone of them. Nicole and Loghan came over and had dinner with us and the kids got to play. We don't get together as often as we use to, you know that they live in a different time zone in Clarkston, right! ;-) LOL! I just loved this photo. He is such a cute little guy!

I made my Mom the wood flower project that is at Crop Paper Scissors. I think it turned out so cute. She really liked it too.

Things are going to be slow at the house this week with the weather not wanting to cooperate with us. Once things are moving again I will get some more pics up.

NEW House Pics!!!

OK...here are some new pics! Sorry it has taken so long. In the beginning I was all over it and I have kinda slacked off as things have went along. I have so many pics that I am not even sure what I am going to do with all of them. This is the garage floor that took like 16 or more hours. It still needs to be sealed, but the weather needs to cooperate first.

Our HVAC unit is in and ready for the finishing touches once the plumbing is done.

Both Bath tubs are in downstairs. My master bath still needs to be put in, but they have to frame up the shower and the tub walls because it is a drop in one. I will post some pics once it is in.

See all those little blue boxes? That is a sign that electrical has started! YEA!!

The back side of the house with siding!! There is just a little more on the front to be done and then we will move into the decks once the back filling is done. The septic goes in on Tuesday. And then we will be bringing in the water electric and what ever else there is to bring in.

I will post new pics soon. Promise it won't take me so long next time!

Birthday Party!!

Just a few pictures from the girl's birthday party. They kids had alot of fun. There were so many that they just kind of ran and did their own thing. But they all were fun of laughs.

Donkey Basketball

Kate was picked to ride in the donkey basketball game on Thursday night. I have never laughed so freakin' hard in a very long time. It was the greatest thing to watch. I also video taped the game...I will try to get some of it on here as soon as I figure out how to get them off the camera. They would try and pull the donkey in a direction and the donkey would just fight it that much more. At one point she fell flat on her butt. One guy had a really hard time just staying up on his, he was hanging on to the neck off the side of the thing...it was great!

She made 5 attempts at a basket and didn't make a one! She is going to have to stick with soccer cause basketball is not calling her name. My dad started calling her "sureshot" by the end of the game. And one of her 5 was on the wrong basket.

At first she was not all the jacked about being in the game and by the end of the night she was ready to so it again. She said that she had a blast! I know I had a good time...and then add my mom in there (just watching), but the two of us start laughing and then we can't stop cause we are laughing at each other. It is a vicious circle. Shayne asked if we needed a ambulance and Phil asked if we had wet our pants. It was a great time. We will be there again in two years!

I will be posting pics of Shayne and Addyson's birthday party this weekend, along with some long over due pics of the house.

Addyson Lane's 3rd Birthday!!!!

My baby girl turns 3 years old today...where does the time go? She has changed so much and developed her own little personality that never fails to amaze us and make us giggle. If someone would have told me how much I was going to love her I wouldn't have believe it. But now I have no words that can describe my love for her...she is my light, my life and the reason I breath! So Happy Birthday Sweet Pea! We love you tons!

Addy's Early Birthday Present

Dammy and Papa got Addyson a Barbie Kawasaki 4-wheeler (of coarse Power Wheels) for her 3rd Birthday. They brought it out to the property on Saturday and gave it to her. She was pretty funny. She seen it in the back of my Moms car when we pulled up and asked Papa to open the car so she could get her surprise. At first she was a little unsure so she rode with Shayne and then they switched and Shayne rode with her. She was laughing so hard. Shayne would try and get off and Addy would step on the gas so Shayne would have to stay on. Every time she stepped on the gas her head would fly back and a couple times she caught Shayne with her helmet. Poor Shayne...she was laughing pretty hard too.

She got the hang of it by the end of the day and rode it down to see Nick and Cindy. Sierra and Shayne had to push it back up the hill though. Kate walked beside her on the rode and said she didn't do too bad with the steering. She will take it camp with her this summer and ride around Dammy and Papa's camp ground. She will defiantly get alot of use out of it, between the camp and the property.

The Girls and I are going to McDonalds today and maybe to run a couple of errands. Cornerstone is out for break, so Kate is the only one in school. They are also here tomorrow for the night. I want to find something to do, but I am not sure what. It doesn't look like it is going to be real nice out, so that kind of limits us. If you have any suggestions let me know.

Yesterday I got to work at Crop Paper Scissors for the day...I love it there! Thank you Kristi for letting me work for you...it totally is my de-stresser! I also get to work Friday from 11-5. So come see me. I love company. Christel and Layla came and visited yesterday for a little while and Layla got all caught up on her Auntie Jo kisses!! I love kissing that little thing...she is just such a lover and the baby smell...her momma always makes sure she has that great baby smell. Thanks for coming and seeing me Christel and Layla.

I was just looking at my blog and I can not believe how much the house has changed in the last week. I will be sure to get on and post some pics today of all they have accomplished. I am sure everyone that has been keeping tract will be surprised as well.

Today Addyson is going to attend Aydann Long's Birthday Party at 360 Gym. She is so excited. This will be her first like big girl birthday party. Thanks again to Amanda and Aydann for inviting her. After the party Addy is going to Dammy's for the night and Phil and I get another quiet evening. I am going to go rent some movies and just chill'.

House Update...once again

Stairs, roofing, skylights and windows soon to come. Things are moving along great. I took a picture of the view today since the sun was out. I am loving this weather. Addyson and I went down and walked Main St. today. Checked out Main Street Lighting, Always a Bride and my favorite, Crop Paper Scissors. Kristi got in tons of wonderful stuff. I am so excited to go down and shop by myself with no child hollering at me.

Nick and Jessie went up today and did some roofing while they waited for the drywallers to finish at Nick and Cindy's place. They are out the painting now. I am so excited to get to that point.

Addyson and I are watching Layla tonight while Richie and Christel get some time together. I am excited to have her here and Addy has been asking when she will be here all day. I will take some lots of pics to post.

Phil and Richie...Carolina Bound

Phil and Richie left early Friday morning for home, South Carolina. Their brother Cody is leaving for the service (Army) on Monday and they had not seen each other in almost two years. I had caught wind of a party on Saturday the 31st for Cody at their sister Jenny's place, so I instantly got on and started looking for tickets. At first we didn't think it was going to work out, but I got back on the next day (Thursday, yes the 29th) and found some tickets that would get them there and back by Sunday at 11:30 (we have Layla's baptism Sunday at 2). I called Phil and told him that I really felt like he needed to go and if he didn't he may be kicking himself later. So I purchased the tickets Thursday evening at 6:30 and in less than 24 hours they were on their way. They were like two little kids in a candy store with all the money in the world. And to top it all off, no one there knew they were coming.

Brandy put this picture on her myspace of all of them out tonight. I am so glad that they are having a good time and spending some awesome time together.

This is the house from the bottom of our drive. It looks so huge up there. Everything went pretty smooth, the 1st one I guess was a little rough, but once they got it all figured out it went pretty quick.

All they have left is the garage, so I will post more pics tomorrow of the whole house done. It is pretty cool to see it looking like a house now.

If I remember right Addyson was making some funny faces in the bathtub and Kate was trying to capture them on film. I actually have alot of these pictures, the girls trying to get a face and her not cooperating.

1st Day of Gymnastics

Addyson's 1st day of gymnastics went great. She loved it and is asking to go back. I got her the cutest little leotard to wear. I will take more pics this week. There were alot of kids there so it was pretty exciting for her. She has been asking to go to school, so hopefully she can start Lil' Joes soon.

This weekend I scrapbooked with the girls at the Red Lion. I had kinda a rough time getting into the swing of things. I started my house pics from beginning to finish (no finish product yet though). I got about 8 pages done and was done looking at house pics. I made Addyson's Birthday Invitations and a few other odds and ends of things. I am pooped tonight, Becky and I stayed up talking in our room until almost 4am and were out of bed by 8am. So I am sure I will crash tonight. I also went shopping with my cousin Denetta who is expecting twins. We went and looked at some swings, cribs, strollers, etc. (you get the jiff). She is pretty overwhelmed with the thought of having to buy 2 of everything. She is about 18 weeks along, so hopefully we will know soon what she and Ronnie are having. How stinkin' exciting. With me being a only child this is my way of being Auntie Jo on my side. I am hoping that we can make a trip to Spokane and go to The Baby Depot and find her some more clothes.

HOUSE UPDATE: Tomorrow the trusses are going to be set. I will be out there taking all sorts of pics so be watching.

So I made Addyson a PottyChart and so far she is pretty excited about it. I told her when all the stars are full and she gets to the big star she can start school. We'll see if it works. She is going to start gymnastics tomorrow, I will take some pics of her 1st day and blog them tomorrow. Here are some more pics of the house, by next week we should have trusses and a roof on.

Addyson loves to go out and climb all the dirt piles. By the time we get home she in filthy dirty and in bad need of a bath.

House Update and Duct Tape Day

The Girls have Winter Fun Week this week at school and today was duct tape day. Sierra wore Kate's dress from last year we just dressed it up a little, but Morgan's is a "Randi Original." I am really thinking I missed my calling...anyone in need of duct tape clothing? It was entertaining to watch them walk up the steps at school this morning. Well the house is coming along. All of the walls will be stood today and trusses are arriving on Friday. I will be out there today so I will take some more photos. Phil is starting to get really tired and the stress of it all is starting to set in. I am trying to be supportive and do as much of the running as I can. Around the house I just try to make sure everything is in order and the girls are all lined out. I feel bad for him because he is out there everyday, normally 7 days a week, and then also working shifts at the station. He has been taking the first 12 off and goes in at 8pm and works the back 12. By the time we are in this house he will be so ready for a break.

This weekend I am going to scrapcamp with the girls and starting on our home album. I just printed off 140 pics and will have a few more left to get caught up. I am also going to be finishing Christmas presents...horrible I know...but better late than never right.

We poured the footings for the garage today. I went out and took some shoots (from the car of coarse...it is fricken' cold out there). It went really smooth, at least, as far as I could tell. There is our sub-floor and they are popping the lines for our interior walls.

This is the basement all framed in with the floor on. It is actually starting to look like a house now finally!

I thought this was a cute pic. I don't have a lot of pics of me and Addy, but this one is kind of unique.

Long Overdue House Update

Things are finally getting started, and you can actually tell that it is a house now. All the walls in the basement are framed up and the floor joist are going in tomorrow. By next week we should have the exterior walls for the upstairs up and the truesses will be going on.

Addyson was so funny when she would go under the ladder, she thought she was so tall that she had to duck when she went under the ladder. The guys standing a wall.

We had a great Christmas Day...nice and quiet...as quiet as you get for having 5 kids. It was just us and my parents, so it was really nice. The girls waited and opened all the presents at the same time so it looked like a bomb went off in our house. It was great though. Addyson totally got into it, she was just ripping through the packages. She sat next to Morgan and had her help keeping everything organized. The girls got alot of clothes, but we are getting into the ages that that is about all they are interested in. I just can't believe Christmas has already came and went and now 2009 is right around the corner.

Phil and I are going to Orofino for our annual get away this weekend. Addyson is spending the weekend with my Mom. I am looking so forward to some down time. We are taking the Wii again this year, some movies, a good book, and football games on Saturday. And of coarse, some cozy pjs. I am so jacked!!!

Phil has been out at the property all this week in the freezing ass cold. Yesterday was a extra long day for him because of the snow and the wind. He didn't get home until 8:30 last night. We had to put tarps and a heater inside the house to get the ground unfrozen to dig and put in our plumbing. And then hopefully we can pour soon. Can you see the Lewiston Hill? I can't. I would sure hate to be driving on those roads.

Jenkins acting like he is working. jk! He had a long day of it to and is out there yet again today finishing up. We owe him a huge thank you for speeding things along.

The house kind of reminds me of a hunting camp right now. With all the tarps and the ply wood. Cracks me up. I really do feel bad for those guys out there. I has to be just frickin' miserable out there.

Yesterday I attempted to get my Christmas projects done...notice I said attempted as in didn't happen...Addy decided that she needed to do a little something too. So I got our her color wonder paints and gave her some of my paint brushes and to town she went. She sat over on the side of my bed with her lap table and painted and watched "Hannah Montana." I had propped a pillow up behind her and she looked pretty cozy. So that gave me a couple hours to work on my projects. I almost have my Mother-in-laws present done, I just have a few finishing details and then in the mail it will go. (Did you read her shirt? My parents got it for her thinking that they were pretty funny...it says "I'm just like Mom I never shut up!" haha very funny!)

Addyson went with Dammy yesterday morning to Costco and a Christmas party. So we put piggy's in her hair and I used a curling iron on her hair for the 1st time. She was pretty darn cute. She was telling me what Santa says in the picture and playing with the Christmas tree...like she knows she is not suppose to be doing.

I finally got a couple more gifts bought yesterday, now just the finishing touches to do. And of coarse I got to hit the grocery store...fun fun.

7 more day until the big day though. I am so excited. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Update..

I went out yesterday and took a picture of our view with the little bit of snow we got on the hills. I am so excited to get in the house and wake up in the morning and see such a beautiful view.
They have started standing our exterior walls on the basement level. When I left today they only had one more to go. It is pretty exciting to see it, you can finally tell it is a house. I also took over my plans to DesignCraft today to get a bid for my kitchen and master bath. I am hoping that they will come in at a good price so I can go ahead and put some money down. Phil had to rent a bobcat to dig the holes for our plumbing cause the ground is frozen. So once thats done then Jenkins can get back out to finish up his part until we are ready for the upstairs to be done. Things are going slow but steady and I am sure it is only slow cause we are so excited and want to be in there now!!

Tomorrow my Mom is coming to get Addyson and take her to her Christmas party at the Clinic and I am going to try and get down to CropPaperScissors to try and finish up my albums I am making for Christmas. I can not believe there is only 9 more days until Christmas Day. Time really does fly. I am going Monday the 22nd to finish up what I have left to buy and then of coarse I have to get the dinner stuff all ready. We are having Christmas Day at my house, so I will also have to make sure everything is all nice and clean.

Potty Training...again

Well, Addyson slept for 13 1/2 hours last night, I am thinking she is going to be taking a growth spurt. She woke up in a great mood and was excited when I metioned panties and no pull ups. She has done pretty good, we have had a couple little accidents while she was trying to get to the potty, at least she was trying right. I am just hoping that this time she will stick with it. I am tired of changing pull ups. (and buying them)

My plan is to try and get her to see Santa today or tomorrow. I don't know if it is going to work out, but I gotta try. She says today she will, but tomorrow always brings something different. Wish me luck.

I spent the evening making "JOY" letters for my Mom and my Aunt Deanna. Addyson helped out with the painting and had lots of fun. I think they turned out pretty good. The paint ended up being kind of trying, it didn't want to cover all that well, 3 coats later, they were done. The set above is my Aunt Deanna's. I made hers a little more traditional. I think she will enjoy them.

My Mom had started decorating her upstairs more in snowflakes, so I decided to add to it.

I wish I would have taken some pics of Addyson painting, but while it was happening I was just trying not to have a huge mess. We will be making more so I will try and get pics then.

House Update

Well, things are moving a little slower now. We have to get the basement floor ready to pour and get Jenkins out to do the basement plumbing. And, of coarse, we need the weather to cooperate just a little longer. After that is done, then we will start the framing and standing walls. I am told that that part goes faster, we will have to see. I haven't taken anymore pics just because nothing has changed. So once I have something to take pics of I will get them posted.

In the meantime, Addy and I are busy running errands for Phil and trying to keep the house picked up and laundry done. I have no idea who wears all of our clothes, but every time I turn around there are like 5 more loads of laundry to do. I can never get caught up. I am also trying to help my Mom out with her house and trying to get all back together. On Friday I will finish the painting and hopefully on Monday they will start installing her cabinets. I am not sure if it will be all done by Christmas, but I hope for my Mom's sake it is. She is going a little nuts with the mess and things not being in their place.

I took Addyson and Shayne to the Train park last night. They had so much fun running through the lights and going through the igloo maze.

I got some cute pics of them. Addyson had a big kool-aide mustache. You at least need to have one of those as a kid right. She was loving the lights and they both rang the bell. It took every pound she weighs but she rang the bell all by herself.

We also put up our Christmas tree tonight. We don't have everything that we normally do, but Christmas will still be great. Addyson had her own little spot that she put all of her ornaments. It was pretty cute.

Addyson got all decked out in her Carhartts today. She was pretty darn cute. Her and Morgan roamed around and then took the 4-wheeler down to Nicks'. It was cold out so we didn't stay all to long. It was so exciting to finally get to see some wall and where windows were going. It actually is starting to look like a house, but we still got a long way to go.

Addyson and I spent the day at my parents house getting everything put back together. I painted the whole upstairs and her bedroom. I will have to take some pics of her room, it turned out so cute. We have just been busy busy. Saturday is my relax day to do some projects. And Sunday Phil and I have to sit down and make a list of things to price. It never stops.

Addyson got some new front teethers today. She had bad cavities on the fronts and one on each side of her fronts. The two on the sides were able to be fixed, but the front ones had to have crowns placed on them. They are a little larger than what we are used to, but they had to make them so they would look normal as she got older as well. They are not permanent so I am not stressing over it too much. I just wanted to make sure that they wouldn't start hurting her.

I have to admit it was kind of a hard day. They had to do conscious sedation. It was hard seeing her like that. I broke down and cried a few times, just because I blame myself so much. This all could have been avoided if I wouldn't have put her to bed with a bottle. She has never been a big fan of water, so she never went to bed with just a water bottle. I felt like I had totally failed her.

But it is all over now and there is no looking back. Just on to something else I guess.

THE WALLS...

I took this picture from the top of Gun Club Road (where Stewart meets), it our property and you can see our foundation and the pump truck up there. If you blow it up you can even see the guys working in there. That's the pump truck and the concrete trucks. Kinda cool. That pump truck thing was huge. This is just below our place right on Holden Road

There is Phil observing and Nick and Bonesy starting the pour. It was pretty cool to watch I have never seen anything like it before.

Wish us luck tomorrow. Addyson gets her dental work done in the morning. It is going to be a long day. Phil is now going to be going with us up to Moscow. So that will be good. Addyson with have her Mommy and Daddy with her. I am just hoping for the best.

We are pouring our walls on Monday. Phil had to go out today and get a few things buttoned up on the big walls. This is Nick and Cindy place. We actually sit back alot further so we probably won't even see their place and if we do it will just be the roof line.

Nick and Cindy were out working on their place today too. You can barely see Cindy down there on the ladder.

The open side will all be wood framed wall and be the daylight part of the basement. Bryan says that this is the slow part and once we the concrete all done things will start moving alot faster. Lets hope.

On Tuesday Addyson has to have some dental work done and they will be using conscious sedation on her. So please wish me luck, we have to go to Moscow and then bring her home. Its going to be a long day.

Finally Digging

Well, we finally have the beginnings of a hole. They will finish digging tomorrow. I can hardly believe it is happening. I truly thought I would never see this day. I am going to go out tomorrow and get some more pics and hopefully some video of them moving the dirt. It was kind of crazy to watch, it reminded me of a carnival ride or something the way it moves.

I will be taking pictures throughout the whole process because my plan is to do a scrapbook from start to finish. So be watching for lots more pics.

Phil's Pinning

Phil had his pinning ceremony for getting promoted to captain. I took all the girls down for it. Richie was also pinned for his full time position. It was kinda cool that they were pinned at the same time.

Dammy's Princess

Today I went to pick Addyson up from my Mom's, she had spent all day yesterday and last night with her Dammy, and this is what I walked in on... Breakfast in bed. I was cracking up. A 2 1/2 year old eating breakfast in bed. My daughter has it so hard when she is with her Dammy. And I wonder why she can be such a little diva.

I am beginning to think that making plans for anything is a great big waste of time. And to try and make plans on a time schedule...well you may as well forget it. I know that we will be out on the property one of these days or years, but it just doesn't seem to want to happen all that soon for us. So I think we are going to be staying put for a little while and just purchase our land. Hopefully we can start building in the spring, but I am not getting my hopes up. Thank God we found the rental we did and we have plenty of room here. I know things supposedly happen for a reason, but I am starting to wonder who exactly we pissed off along the way.

I am really trying to see all the good...like my kids are healthy, we DO have a roof over our heads, I have husband that loves me and vise versa, and again my kids are all healthy. Really I guess I can't ask for more.

Halloween

This year Addyson was a Sunflower for Halloween. And pretty darn cute one at that. She loved her costume, so much that she got really upset when it was time to take it off. It was a long night of Trick-or-Treating and we have tons of candy to prove it. Addy was much more independent this year...making her own way to the doors and getting in and out of the wagon on her own most of the time, but she was still liking the wagon thing and not having to walk the whole time. For me it is much easier to pull her that to carry her the whole way.

Landen met up with us towards the end of the night. He was a extremely handsome Giraffe. He was not all to sure about the wagon thing, but it was all good. We ended out night back at Tim and Tanya's and took the girls home from there. Addy is going to sleep good tonight. Thank god cause I am tired.

My 3 Trick-or-Treaters

Tomorrow is whole new day, nothing is ever the same twice. My mom is having a yard sale, so Addy and I are going to head up that way. Phil is going to be playing the Pipes with the Lewiston Pipes and Drums at the UofI Homecoming Game (wish him luck). And then on Sunday my Mom, Addyson and I are going to Spokane for the night to get some shopping done. I am really looking forward to it, we got a hotel with a pool so Addy can go swimming. I think we will have a great time.

Phil is meeting with the excavation guy today and hopefully we will have a hole dug soon. He spent most of his day running around and filling out paper work to get all our permits. As soon as something happens up there I will be taking more pics so everyone can see our progress as we go. I am actually kind of excited to do a "Our Home" Scrapbook from beginning to end. I know this is going to be very exciting, but stressful too. More for Phil I am thinking will be the stress, he takes care of everything when it comes to finances and knowing what we can do and what we can't. He is going to try and shoulder some off the job to cut some cost. And on top off that he starts his new position on Friday. So things may be a little touchy in our house.

This weekend my Mom, Addyson and I are heading to Spokane to do some shopping. I am hoping to get some idea on things for the house and my Mom is remodeling her kitchen as well. I am sure we will hit Chuck E. Cheese for Addy and so some us shopping as well.

Lynley and Jims' big day

Yesterday Lynley got married. It was a pretty wedding and she was a gorgeous bride. She is a wonderful person and I wish her all the luck and happiness in the world. I hope this brings her joy and her and Jim have a beautiful life together.

We took all the girls with us to the wedding. It in Colton at the Red Barn. The wedding was outside and it was a little on the chilly side, but the ceremony was short and to the point, 9 minutes to be exact. We didn't get to stay real late we needed to get the girls home and Addyson hadn't taken a nap all day and it was starting to show.

Phil snapped this picture off us. I think it is one of the only pictures of me and the girls, but we are missing Sierra, she was standing in the tent trying to get warm. I think when I am ready to do pictures of the girls I may bring them back up here, the fields we pretty and there was a couple of old barns that would be neat to get in a photo.

Today, Addyson has went to spend time with Grammy and Papa and I am going to work on housework. Phil is chillin' watching tv, he had his last day on A shift and last shift on a bus, unless he chooses to do overtime anyway. So we are all pretty excited about that. And hopefully we will have more certain direction with the house this week. Wish us luck.

Lynley's Wedding

Tomorrow is Lynley and Jimmy's wedding. I made them a little something and thought I would show it off a little. I actually think I really like how it turned out and was actually not to had to make.

Lynley likes simple things, so I wanted to make it pretty, but not to over the top. Their wedding is going to be at the Red Barn in Colton and we are taking all the girls with us. It should be a great time.

Also, Addyson and I went out and enjoyed the beautiful weather today. We had some running around to do for the house and then we went to the park and had lunch, and after that we went down on Main St and walked around and looked at some furniture, dreaming that all, for now anyway. Now the little stinker is sacked out and I am trying to get everything ready for tomorrow.

Pumpkin Huntung!

We went to the pumpkin patch today. Addyson had so much fun and we got 2 pumpkins. Grammy went with us and got Addy some apples that she just had to have. While we were there there was a school group there and she wanted to go with them so bad on the bus. So, Mom and I are going to do some calling around and try to get her into a daycare a couple hours a week. Just so she can go play with some kids her age.
She loved the hay stack! She truly did not want to leave, but in time we persuaded her with the chance to go to Costco and pick out a movie. So, she is now watching "Sleeping Beauty."
It just blows my mind at how fast she is growing. It seems that just yesterday I was pregnant and awaiting her arrival. It makes me sad to think how fast the next few years are going to go.

When we got home today she gave my and Dammy a big hug and kiss and told us thank you for all her stuff and for taking her to the park to play (we went and had lunch at the park). It really surprised me because normally I have to tell her, but this time she did it all on her own. Like I said she is growing up way to fast.

Mom's Birthday!

Today was my mom's Birthday and I spent the majority of the day making her gifts. She is remodeling her kitchen right now and I thought that the "HOME" letters would be fun for her to put in the new kitchen. She is going in reds, coppers and neutrals(browns and tans).
I did the "BOO" letters for her at our scrapcamp last weekend for watching Addyson for me for the weekend. I wish I could do so much more for her, she does so much for me. Although she can be a pain, she is really wonderful and I love her lots!
And I made this album for her for her birthday. It was actually alot of fun. She loved it and is going to be taking it to work with her. So I am sure for all her patients, if you ask she will be pulling it out and probably even if you don't ask. Addyson calls her Dammy instead of Grammy and it has kind of stuck, and in all truth it really is fitting for her.

Well, we are going to the pumpkin patch tomorrow so be looking for pictures.

This weekend is going to be our scrapbook camp at my house. So, otherwise, I have been busy this week trying to get everything cleaned up and in its place. I am going to set up 2 6ft tables in my living room and then a separate table for all of our machines and doodads. I am really looking forward to it. Jen Sparks, Nicole Triplett, Cindy Stevens and I will be here and then I think my cousin Alyse is going to come down and see what it is all about. I am hoping that she will want to start because she needs a hobby that she can sit down and relax and take some time for herself (she has a full-time job and is most defiantly a full-time Mommy and sometimes she just needs a little TLC to herself). And yes I worry about her alot. So, it should be a really fun weekend. Be looking for some pictures of the many things we do. I am going to be working on Christmas stuff after I get caught up on Addy's album. I only have picture from June to now to do, I pretty much got caught up at the last camp.

Today I am working for Kristi at Crop Paper Scissors for a few hours. I love it down there! Today I am going to try to get everything layed out and get what I need to get for the weekend. But is not, luckily the store is close to the house just in case we need to make a supplies run. Addy is going to be with Grammy this afternoon and for the weekend. She is going to have a little friend come over and play in her kitchen on Saturday. I am just hoping that she will sleep for my mom, otherwise she gets really tired and that makes her sick. So I am hoping all goes well.

Well, things have been pretty slow around here. Slow for us anyway. Today Phil went to 3 soccer games and Addyson and I went shopping. It is hard to take Addy out to soccer games when it is rainning and with potty training it is not a whole lot of fun. So, we go shopping and spend money that we shouldn't, isn't that what we all do?

I snapped the picture of Addyson in the bath tub the other night. We have a picture of everyone of the girls like this. I want to do something special with all of them. Not all of them are thins age, but still I think it would be fun to make a little something up you know. Shayne's picture like this we put on her 3rd birthday cake. Addy loves her baths, she washes all of her barbies hair, and yes we go through tons of shampoo.

The other pic is of Addyson and Tycee last night while we watched "Iron Man." She loves that dog so much and vise versa. Tycee lets Addy do anything to her. Since getting Ticker Phil has really relaxed with the dogs. In the past there was no way he would ever let Tycee on the couch, but now Ticker lays in his lap at night and Tycee lays in Addyson's. Tycee is actually very protective over Addy, when we were up camping Addyson was headed down to the creek and Tycee got in front of her and would let her get any farther. It is amazing at how smart dogs are and I think Tycee is incredible smart. She is defiantly Addy and I's dog.

Well, not much else going on. I am just getting ready for our ScrapCamp next weekend here at my house. I am so jacked to get together with with some of my girlfriends and have a relaxing weekend. And then I get the privilege of working for Kristi a couple days at CropPaperScissors. I am so excited and feel very grateful that they would ask me to help them out. So if anyone gets bord come down and visit me.

Addyson got a Go Fish! game from Grammy and she is so funny to watch. Actually, I am not sure if she is the funniest, Kate got pretty into it too. Anyway, it ended up entertaining them for a hour or so.

Well the land has finally been approved by the county!! This is so exciting! We can finally purchase the land and get things rolling. Phil will be headed to the bank and then we will be going from there - deciding weather to start now or wait until spring. Decisions decisions!

God do I love my new camera! It takes incredible pics, doesn't it!!

We went to camp 14 for 4 days and it was so nice! We had great weather and the best part was that it was quiet and just us. We took off on the 4-wheelers and went on some great rides, went to see the red fish and enjoyed the fire and watched a couple of movies. Phil spent time with Ticker, training him and just doing some bonding. Both Ticker and Tycee loved it. The last night is started to pour and was still raining when we came home. If we didn't have Addy we would have taken off and done some riding in the rain, but I didn't want her to get sick. My mom came up on Saturday and spent some time with us as well. I wish it didn't have to end.

My parents took Addyson to the fair when we got home. They said that she loved the rides. My mom said that when she rode the roller coaster she thought she was laughing so hard that she wasn't breathing. She had her picture taken on the pony and got to go through the petting zoo. And of coarse you all know that my mom didn't have a camera for any of it.

Also, we have more exciting news! Phil made Captain!! I am so very proud of him. When we got to camp on Wednesday night he was like a little kid on crack he was so excited!! It was pretty cute actually. So now it sounds like he will be going to B shift. It will be a change, but that is how it works.

Saturday

Well...Ticker is here. Phil and Nick drove all day yesterday, a total of 821 miles and sat in 3 hours of block up traffice due to a wildfire that had jumped the highway, got home at 5am. Ticker is really good so far. He is adjusting well and is the friendliest little thing. Him and Tycee are getting along well so far too.

Addyson went camping with my parents on Thursday and won't be home until Sunday. I missing her so much. I was by myself the last two nights and I wished so much that she would have been here. My Parents called and said that she was having a blast, but it doesn't make me miss her less. I will be so happy when I see those brown eyes and big smile running to me.

Kate had a game today against Lakeland (Rathdrum). LHS lost 2-1. The girls played pretty well and as usual, I think Kate played great. They are playing CHS on Monday night, so I will take my camera and get some pics at that one.

Well...not alot of anything else going on here. I will take some pics of Ticker and of our soccer game on Monday and them posted.

Addyson Project

I picked up a little project from Crop Paper Scissors, thanks to

Jan and Kristi they turned out so wonderful. They were tons of fun to do. Now, I just need to get them mounted on the wall. I love how there are so many colors that I will have so much to choose from when we finallly build and I get to decorate a room for her. I am now addicted and am going to go pick up letters to do all of the girls names. That is going to be alot of work, but so much fun to see the final product.

I hope everyone took a minute today to remember everyone that was lost in the attacks on 9/11. I cannot believe that it has been 7 years already. Time does go by fast. I went to the station and got some pictures of Phil and Richie playing as the parade of firetrucks and police cars went by. Christel and Layla were at the station as well, and for those of you who do not know, today was Richie's 1st shift as a full timer!!! Congrats guys!!

Today was actually kind of busy, I had doctors appointments that brought alot of unnecessary stress, my parents came back into town and picked up Addyson to take her camping, then I went to Crop Paper Scissors to get a new project to work on (I am doing Addyson's name in letters for her wall in her room!), then to the station. Of coarse when I got home I started on the project and here I am at 12:40am.

I am actually really missing Addyson and I still have 2 days to go before she comes home. It still just amazes me at how much that little thing has changed my life. I just love every second that I am with her, even though I do sometimes want to pull my hair out, when she is gone I am ready for her to come back home. She is most definitely Mommies Baby girl.

Phil and Nick are leaving tomorrow to go get Ticker. I am excited to get him here and see what he is going to be like. I am just hoping for a easy transition into our family. I know Phil is really excited. So while the Hubby and the child is away I am going to work alittle and then Cindy is going to do my hair as well. I am actually kind of excited, I am needing a little change.

Well...nothing to exciting around here. I am going to catch some zzz's!! I hope all is good!

Ticker

Well, we will soon have a new edition to our family. His name is Ticker. He is a Decker Rat Terrier and is 5 months old. The people who have him say that he is the biggest sweetheart. Phil is making the drive over to Molalla on Friday with Nick Stevens to pick him up. Phil has been wanting one for a long time, so we decided now is better than when we do finally end up in a new house. I guess Ticker is famous for laying his ears back and grinning at you while he wagging his tail so hard that he can't stand up straight. When he gets here I will be taking more photos so stay tuned.

Also, wish Phil good luck- he is testing for captain today and tomorrow.

Soccer Saturday #1...

The girls played their hearts out today. Morgan's team won 2-1 and Kate's team lost to Sandpoint. It was still two great games to watch. They are both improving with every game and they both leave it all out on the field. I thought it was kind of funny that Phil got a shot of each of them that was almost identical. Well, keep posted we take pictured every game. Yes...that means I am going to have alot to scrapbook. If anyone has some cool ideas of how to scrape them let me know? I would like to do something a little different than just a 12x12 album ya know.

A night alone

Well...I don't have alot to say, just that I am alone tonight and I am going to do some scrapbooking! It has actually been kind of nice, but at the same time kind of strange. I miss Addyson. Sounds crazy I am sure, but I am watching TV and I heard what sounded like Addy whining and I started to look around for her. Isn't crazy how life changes when you have children.

I hope all have a goodnight. I know I will enjoy mine.

Rodeo

Well, my Mom punked out on me and didn't take any pictures last night at the rodeo. She said she was too busy watching her that she didn't even think about the camera. Go figure! I don't know how us picture taking moms do it, watch out kids plus take pictures. Do you think we are better at multi-tasking than our mothers? Probably not, but I wonder if you start to loose it with age? That is scary...I am turning 29 this month, the age thing is creeping up on me!
Well...we have not alot going on today, but Saturday I have 2 soccer games. Be looking for pics!

Baby Layla

We finally got to see Layla today. She is absolutely beautiful! Phil had come down with a cold the day after she was born, so we didn't want to get her sick at such a early age. He actually started to feel better yesterday, but we thought it was a good idea to wait one more day. Richie and Christel said that she is a excellent baby, sleeps, eats and goes potty. They are both wonderful parents and you can tell that she is going to be the jewel of their lives. With all of us she is bond to be a very loved little girl! I do find myself wanting to go out and buy more baby clothes now...it is a good thing I am unable to have more children!

As for Addyson...my baby girl is 2years and 6months today...how time flies! She has been doing so great with her potty training. It actually makes me kinda sad...she is getting so independent. And things that come out of her mouth are so hilarious. There is never a dull moment when she is awake. Grammy and Papa are taking her to slake(sp?) night tonight at the Lewiston Round-up. I am going to send my camera along with my parents to get some pics to I will get them posted.

Ice Blocking!

So...I took the girls ice blocking and got some great shots of everyone. These are just a few. Gavin, Nicole and Loghan came down and tried it out. I have tons of shots with Gavin going head over heels. I was wanting to get the girls out of the house for al little while and I thought, what better to do than slide down a hill on a block of ice, something I used to do back in my high school years. Needless to say...they were asking when we were going to do it again when it was time to leave.

For anyone who may be keeping track, the potty training is going so great and I am so proud of her. She is really trying super hard to do her best and that is so awesome. My baby is growing up so fast.

Well, one more day of the holiday weekend and I have to work it, but all is good since most weekends are long ones for me.

Well, we are still waiting on Baby Layla. The girls came over this morning and we are all sitting around waiting on the phone call so we can go down and see the new little one.

So...here is a fun little story for you. Addyson has started potty training and we have went 4 Days with no diapers (except for nap time and bed time). So this morning my Mom and Aunt Deanna stopped by and Addyson was strutting around in her night shirt and panties. As she walked away from my Mom her panties were giving her a wedgie. My Mom said to her "Your panties are going up your cheeks!" Addyson stopped and turned around and grabbed her facial cheeks and said "no...they are up my Boodie!" I guess it is good that she knows all her body parts eh! She has also learned a new word and can say it with clarity - Jackass! She will just say it out of the blue. I am just waiting to take her shopping and calls some stranger a Jackass.

Well...once that baby is born I will post some new pics. Wish Richie and Christel luck.

First time!

Ok...so I am new at this. Some of my friends have blogs and I thought it might be a fun way to keep up with everyone. I am soon to be 29 and I am the step-mother to 5 wonderful girls, Jestine 18, Kate 15, Morgan 13, Sierra 11, and Shayne 7. And my Husband, Phil and I have a beautiful daughter Addyson 2. And I think she keeps us busier than the other 5 put together. All 4 of the younger step-daughters play soccer and Kate just recentley made Varsity for LHS in her freashman year. I am sure in time I will slip up and call them my daughters...I just love them all so much and would give the world for all of them. I am an only child and never dreamnt of having 6 girls, but know I love to watch my daughter with her sister and see how special of a bond they have and how much they love each other. My parent live in Lewiston and have always been a huge support to me. They are both head over heels for their grand-daughters and very very proud. My husband works as a paramedic/firefighter for the Lewiston Fire Department, he is a wonderful man and a incredible Dad. He can be onry at times, but I think that is way I love him so much and fall more in love with him every day.
So that is a little history on myself...I look forward to sharing many more of our family stories.
Oh and by the way...I am currently waiting for my niece, Layla, to be born, her mom went into labor today and I am so excited to see her. And even more excited for Richie and Christel, they are going to be wonderful parents.
